Before you come
Bring: A valid Florida ID, and your DD-214 or first responder ID if you have it handy. Don’t have it? Come anyway — we’ll show you how to get it.
How long: Most people are in and out in under an hour.
Cost: Nothing to walk in the door.
Bring someone: The people who show up are usually the ones a wife, a buddy, or a son brought along. Be that person for somebody.

Certification decisions are made by the physician, not by The Grateful Veteran. Eligibility and what is offered can vary by event. State law, federal law, VA policy, and federal firearms law are separate matters — we’ll point you to the right person for each.
